Terms, Conditions & Privacy Consent

By registering you agree that:

You are registering as a Healthcare Professional (HCP) user on the adveva for MAVENCLAD® Portal (the Portal). This Portal forms part of a Patient Support Programme (the Programme) administered by Merck Healthcare Pty Ltd (Merck) and is intended only for use by treating Healthcare Professionals (HCP’s) with patients under their care who have been prescribed MAVENCLAD® (cladribine tablets) 

The Programme aims to provide support to patients prescribed MAVENCLAD® by way of general advice and reminders to assist with their treatment and monitoring. 

The Portal aims to provide access to the Programme at the treating HCP / Clinic level by providing visibility into the patient’s journey on MAVENCLAD® therapy. 

You acknowledge that only patients who have been prescribed MAVENCLAD® may be enrolled in the Programme and that the decision to prescribe MAVENCLAD® was based on good clinical practice and professional judgement independent of Merck. 

You understand that the Portal provides the HCP / Clinic with a management tool for patients enrolled in the Programme and that the ongoing care and management of the patient is the responsibility of the treating HCP / Clinic. Use of the Portal as a management tool does do not replace independent professional judgement. 

You agree to gaining consent of patients prior to enrolling them in the Portal and to sharing their information with Merck to enrol in the Programme if they are not already enrolled. 

You will be required to provide your name and email address and APHRA / Provider number for validation purposes. Merck will collect the personal information that you provide when logging into the Portal. This is used by Merck to ensure you are a registered HCP: to register a patient into the Programme and to monitor your visits to the site. 

Your personal information may be used by Merck to administer the Programme: contact you if required on information pertaining to the Programme: evaluate and improve the Programme and meet auditing, legal and reporting requirements. 

Your personal information may also be used by Merck to contact you regarding any adverse events relating to a Merck product identified as a result of your use of the Portal. 

Merck may utilise data obtained through reporting that may be published in a medical journal. The reports or abstracts will not identify you, any individual patient or identify anyone from your healthcare team. 

Merck will not provide your personal details to third parties except where that party is providing a service on behalf of Merck and has agreed to comply with the Merck privacy statement (link below). Merck will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that the personal information you provide is adequately protected according to the requirements of applicable data protection laws. All information collected from you is kept on secure, password-controlled servers in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and outside of ANZ in countries that have similar privacy laws/regulations and expectations as in ANZ. At all times, adherence to the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) Privacy Principles will be maintained. 

From time to time, Merck may contact you for feedback on the Programme and services provided by Merck. In such instances, your feedback will be voluntary.
